Measures 1 1/4" Long, 1 1/4" WideMetal is sterling silverEach piece is a high quality, signed original Zealandia collectible pieceWe recommend using a silver polishing cloth to keep your Zealandia jewelry looking new for many years to come!
Zealandia Jewelry Designs uses all natural materials, combining several elements such as silver, semi-precious stones, bone, ammonites, mother of pearl, and the vibrantly colored abalone. Shells, fossils and bone carvings are like human fingerprints in that no two pieces are alike. Each piece is individually handcrafted in Bali, Indonesia. The craftsmen who hand carve and the smiths who make the silver jewelry, do their best to reproduce the same likeness as in the photographs, but because of the variation in the color and carving, each piece is remarkably distinct.
Jenny Byrne, Zealandia’s designer and owner, was born in New Zealand. Jenny moved to the United States and now lives in Idaho. Jenny has woven her initial love of the natural materials found on the beaches and rivers of the world and a fascination with mythological and spiritual art into a creative line of silver jewelry. Jenny selects the natural elements like shells and ammonites appropriate for her design concepts. "I like my designs to tell stories that honor the wisdom ancient people. I see early expressions of writing, art and ritual as having an innate power, and incorporate this into my designs as silent incantations or mantra."
