This magnificent line is fashioned upon precious iridescent shards of 2000 year old roman glass unearthed in ancient Roman Empire sites in Israel. Each piece is hand cut by master craftsman and embellished with precious stones of blue topaz, amethyst, peridot, murano glass and seed pearls which only enhance the fusion of prism-like colors found in each one-of-a-kind fragment.  Angie Olami, the designer behind the line, has long sifted through the rubble and myths of lost civilizations to find the subterranean history of amulets. From her travels and research, she has designed sterling silver jewelry collections based on the ancient languages, symbols and cultures of Israel, Mesopotamia, Greece and medieval Florence. Angie has also spent time researching Byzantine and Roman mosaics and has studied at Yale, The Pardes Institute and St. Petersburg University. Her jewelry is made primarily in Israel by a small group of handpicked master craftsman. The Angie Olami line is famous for the use of the rainbow palette of precious roman glass that dates from 100 BCE to 300 CE.
